The Tournament Saga: Movie Poster
Final project. Of the 4 big final pieces for this semester it was the easiest one of all and got the biggest praise.
I guess less is more.
I previously made a version for myself for my Tournament site but there is no comparison between the 2. If you would like to view the comparison, you can see them on my site at:

I loved this piece so much I had a massive, actual poster-size piece printed out so I could display it at home. It's now hanging on our wall over our treadmill, inciiting power, motivation, and encouragment daily.

Reaching Out and Retouching With Family
After
Before
This assignment was difficult in the fact that I did not have a good example. The actual photo was just a bit bigger than a thumbnail but it was the best example I had for the assignment of retouching an old photo.
The boy with the dog is my wife's dad. The dog on the left is his favorite dog, Blackie, whom he still talks about to this day.

The Masked Bomber
This assignment is about layers and editing a picture by layers. Each line, shadow, highlight, and background color all have their own layer which allowed me to manipulate and adjust the transparencies individually.
This was also the first assignment our instructor had us start with a Macintosh digital drawing tablet. Once I got one that worked I was sold. My wife Donna has always wanted one of these. I can't wait to show it to her.
The Mask has always been a favorite of mine. He was inspired by the skull image the instructor used in his example.
